The Schoolhouse

The Schoolhouse is nestled in the woods behind the main museum building. This one-room structure was also once used as a church. It includes an old organ, a woodburning stove and an outdoor water pump and outhouse.

Many other exhibits are also displayed in the school, including old-time books, desks, and class photographs of Empire area residents when they were students.
